One thing that I’m not sure the general public quite gets is how small the Twin Cities are compared to the other metros that have experienced moments like this. DC metro is about twice us. Chicago, LA, NYC vastly bigger.

This evening, one adult male was shot by federal immigration enforcement agents in the 600 block of 24th Avenue North. He was transferred to a local hospital with apparent non-life-threatening injuries.

I’m starting my 8th decade as an American and all my life I’ve seen news shows with secret police detaining/beating people in other countries and movies/tv shows depicting authoritarian governments and I thanked my lucky stars I was an American. And now my country allows this despicable bullshit.
