I am convinced America crossed an event horizon thirteen years ago, when even the deaths of elementary school aged children at the hands of a monster weren't enough for their government to say "enough is enough". Hard not to think that Americans would rather have their guns over their children.

Well to me any “security guarantee” is just another useless piece of paper to be ignored when desired. Just ask the Russians. Made a deal with the devil just to get a hunk of dirt. That didn’t go well and they just make agreements they don’t keep either. Then UN resolutions? Hahahaha. Just another?

We really (me included) need to stop engaging/arguing with gun nuts.
They are beyond rationality and they don't care how many people die.
There are a lot more of us than there are of them.
Instead, we need to elect enough of us to defeat and get serious, on a national level, about gun laws.
