The HBO cycling product from TNT Sports is vastly better than what Peacock puts out for the premier cycling event of the year and it's not even close

If that is what you think is "good" or even close to sufficient, you need to step aside and let someone with a spine lead the party.
Good. I called for this because they should have never been posted in the first place.

He needs to apologize to the victims’ families.

Why is it always that Democrats need to court misogynistic dudebros? Guys of this ilk benefit from and depend on the misogyny they spew, they don't deserve to be catered to ever.
On the radio, and on this video, we talk with Dave Portnoy about his tilt to the right, and what if anything Democrats could do to win the votes of men like him.

One of the best things I’ve read on this site
(Literally, if I ever go back to do the PhD I always wanted to do, my dissertation will be on how rap music serves the same theological function for the American civil religion as the biblical Prophets did for the kingdom of Israel. But I digress. Again.)

What happened to all those great American factory jobs we were told for the last week are the thing everyone should want and makes people *manly*?

At this juncture, it is imperative for Chuck Schumer to resign and new leadership take over. He isn't up for the fight and the party needs someone with the will to take a stand.

In this week's edition of "Who is this diva cup":
The weeks of performative “resistance” from those in my party were limited to undignified antics.

Voting to shut the government down will punish millions or risk a recession.

I disagree with many points in the CR, but I will never vote to shut our government down.
March 11, 2025 at 11:56 PM
Quite the opposite. Dems owe trans people the apology for scapegoating them for the party's continued ineptitude.

In the immortal words of Gaggy Windey, who is this diva cup?
I feel sad for our country. I have never felt it so divided.

There is a meanness that permeated the chamber tonight.

The punch, counterpunch will never work. If we continue with this “eye for an eye”mentality, we will all end up blind.

Our country needs some healing.
March 6, 2025 at 6:44 PM
Imagine hating trans people so much you think that was good.
That was a very effective speech.

You can hate it or him.

But that speech was aimed squarely at issues where the public is with Trump -- and filled with made-for-sharing moments.

A master image-maker at work (and you can hate him and acknowledge that's true!)

Why are my taxpayer dollars funding DHS propaganda ads on tv right now? When are Democrats going to do a damn actual thing about any of this?

Perhaps the collapse of the federal government and hostile takeover by a band of 20-somethings dudebros and their oligarch overlord should be considered a kitchen table issue?
Today, I released a framework detailing how the Democratic Party will fight against Trump’s war on working people.

What an absolutely abysmal take
Trump’s decision to rename the Gulf of Mexico may be upsetting to some, writes @giladedelman.bsky.social, but “in a democracy, values are determined by majority rule, and they don’t shift in only one direction. They can shift back”:
‘The Gulf of America’ Is the Wrong Fight to Pick
The more that politicians mess around with place names, the more important it is to respond according to consistent principles.
