Trump’s team built a snitch site targeting Canadian doctors.

Not US doctors. Ours.

It asks people to report gender-affirming care. Every province was listed.

That's not some code fluke. It's a political threat to scare Canadian health workers into silence.

Never forget, all the same awful people in the United States and Russia who wanted Donald Trump to win, badly want Pierre Poilievre to become Canadian Prime Minister.

Poilievre, who still refuses to apply for the normal security clearance that would, among other things, identify foreign influences.
IMPORTANT: “As Canadians prepare to go to the polls on Monday, they are being bombarded with misleading rightwing content on US social media platforms that has fuelled concerns about their potentially damaging role in the general election.”

The easiest, most constant & most dangerous interference.

Reminders:

"Concentration camps" aren't the same as "extermination camps." Both were/are horrific.

Most Nazi camps were *outside Germany*, away from the eyes of German citizens.

Those trains? Were to, uh, deport the category of people whose lives were deemed unimportant.

Never again is now.

Genocide is genocide is genocide
Today the Netanyahu regime once again unilaterally broke the ceasefire, bombed Gaza, and killed at least 112 more Palestinian civilians with the majority being women and children.

And in response the US Senate voted 85-15 to send Netanyahu more bombs to drop on Palestinians.

This is genocide.

So many things wrong with this. Sadly, many orgs disable chat during these types of online trainings for this reason.
Transport Canada’s online presentation for employees on the legacy of residential schools was the first to provide staff with information on the history of residential schools.

It was quickly derailed as attendees made comments denying the effects of residential schools in the call’s chat.

Wow, folks...I am so incredibly grateful (and a lil overwhelmed, in a good way!) for the response to this.

It's heartening to see how many care about an issue that is SO much bigger than any one journalist.

It's a trend, and we have to stop it. You all give me hope we might be able to do that. ❤️
I’m devastated, but I’m also angry. I’m angry because this is an attack on press freedom.

If opportunities can be stripped from journalists simply because enough people repeat the same bad-faith narrative, how can anyone withstand the career impact of doing work that matters?
