As a small government, free market conservative, I think many functions can be privatized PRECISELY BECAUSE there are some core functions that only government should do and must focus on - like national defense and the administration of justice. Outsourcing these isn't efficiency, it's abdication.

This is why winning the midterms itself isn't a strategy. Trump plans to ignore the results. Acknowledging this doesn't make you a doomer, but it does mean you have to plan for worst case scenarios. We gotta be ready, especially since they're telling us the plan outright.
