How many O-line coaches can say that their city knows who they are?

Jeff Stoutland was that good, and that important.

And in Philly, perfect for a place that cares so much.

On the past 13 years and Stoutland's decision to bring that run to a close:

Jeff Stoutland was invaluable to the Eagles, and perfect for Philly
How many O-line coaches can say their town knows who they are? Stoutland and Eagles fans, they can always, proudly claim that.

The Eagles really gifted a crappy, whiny Niners team an extra week for no real reason...

Not that anyone was going to be in the mood to watch a miserable offense try to win another game 10-7 anyway.

Thoughts on that Seahawks game, Hurts, and A.J.:

Eagles thoughts: Beating up on the Niners was really that easy, huh?
The Seahawks decimated a banged-up and overwhelmed 49ers team that was still somehow too much for the Eagles a week ago.

If there's a lesson learned from the first two playoff games, don't take your foot off the gas. The Panthers went into a soft shell defense they hadn't played all day on the Rams' final drive, and the Packers' offense went conservative after building a 21-3 lead.

The shift from Eagles -3 to Eagles -6 is a massive line move for an NFL playoff game. 49ers injuries must be considered by the sharps to be too significant to overcome.

If Brandon Graham records half a sack vs WAS, he will become the third player to reach 80.0 career regular season sacks with the Eagles.

1. Reggie White (124.0)
2. Trent Cole (85.5)
3. Brandon Graham (79.5)
4. Clyde Simmons (76.0)
5. Fletcher Cox (70.0)

The Eagles get to 11-5, 2 seed still in play. The defense was awesome, but the game was almost blown by the offensive staff's extremely conservative second half. A road win against a good Bills team should probably feel better than this one will for most fans.

Guess that goes into the W bucket with Rams, Lions, and Packers. Unnecessarily close and almost improbable but still gets the W. Defense played out their MINDS 😤Cue the theme of the season: "a win is a win!" Go birds! #FlyEaglesFly

You’re up 13-0. You have a reasonable chance at the 2 seed which guarantees you two home games and probably means you only have to play one of Seattle or LA. The weather terrifies me but I kind of think you have to go for the win here

Jihaad Campbell could have slacked off over the last couple months since losing his starting gig, but he didn't.

"It’s been instilled in me ever since I was a young kid."

He'll likely get a start on Sunday in Buffalo:

Hadn’t seen this before, about the fight that broke out in last night’s Eagles-Commies game after the Birds’ two point conversion.

Good for you, Bobby Wagner. Your take here was very wise, and thanks for reminding Saquon not to do something dumb.

The Eagles' defense had zero missed tackles against the Raiders.

The only game in the NFL this season where a defense didn't miss a tackle.

This is a dirty hit by Jay Ward (#24 Vikings) that has left Zach Ertz down on the field and needing assistance from the trainers to leave the field.

No place for this on the football field. Disgusting play.

Kevin Patullo is an easy target, IMO. He isn’t bringing anything to the offense, but…

- Ultimately, it’s Nick’s offense.
- Nick is directing big-picture in-game strategy (ie. give-up plays, etc.)
- Nick hired him.

That’s where frustration should be directed.

Fire Kevin Patullo
The standards are high around here, and anything short of another Super Bowl championship would be a disappointment.

The Eagles aren’t going to win a Super Bowl with Kevin Patullo calling plays.
After latest collapse, Eagles have no choice but to replace Kevin Patullo
Eleven games in, the Eagles' offense keeps sliding and Kevin Patullo's play calling looks more like the problem than the solution.

That was a pathetically coached game by the Eagles. They had a good initial offensive game plan, which worked. And then they just took their foot off the gas against a team capable of scoring points, and asked Daddy (Vic) to save the day again when it went stale.
