If I'm the Eagles, I am looking at Jamel Dean, K'Lavon Chaisson, and Eric Stokes in free agency this offseason. Here is a look at them and about 25 other free agents on the Eagles menu. The specials are CB2, EDGE, and safety.

Thankfully, Sixers fans can sleep easy at night with the sweet, sweet comfort that Josh Harris will not be paying the luxury tax for the 4th year in a row. All it took was ripping out the heart of Jared McCain like in Temple of Doom. That's totally fine

In a vacuum, every move the Sixers made at the deadline is fine at worst. All together they were completely deflating and reek of Rachel Phelps running the Cleveland Indians in the late 80s
I've been thinking about the Jared McCain move and the NBA trade deadline for a few days now. While the McCain move is defensible (playoff Seth Curry?), not finding anyway to improve at this deadline is not. Ducking the tax was truly the priority.

Here are about 25 names that Howie Roseman and the Eagles should consider at some level in free agency, plus a few more common ones that have little chance like Trey Hendrickson, Kyle Pitts, and Odafe Oweh.

The Eagles have big needs at CB2, EDGE, and Safety (plus others). While trades and the draft are options, here is the inventory of possible free agent targets including how they would look to the Eagles and salary range

The Eagles have hired Chris Kuper to replace Jeff Stoutland as OL coach. He's 43, a former Pro Bowler, and was the Vikings OL coach the last 4 seasons. Minnesota has had serious QB protection problems, so let's hope that's not the coach but the QBs

The Seahawks are going to win the Super Bowl and they were by far the better team. They should be the favorites next year too because they can bring this whole team back if they want to. Their cap sheet is bleach clean because they've drafted so well

Getting half your starters through free agency in the offseason is not supposed to work in the NFL, yet that's exactly what the Patriots did. Everybody worked out. I hope they lose, but it's very impressive

Say what you want about the Patriots schedule (and I have), but they completely crushed free agency last season. No mistakes. 11 starters later, they are in the Super Bowl

While I'm no fan of the new JT Realmuto contract, the trade that brought him to the Phillies 7 years ago was a landslide victory. I know we got Jesus Luzardo last year, but we could really use another one of these right now
7 years ago today the Phillies reeled in a big fish (not sorry) by trading Sixto Sanchez to the Marlins for JT Realmuto. If not for the JT deal, there's a decent chance that Bryce Harper never comes to the Phillies. Let's relive the 2018-19 offseason...
