Great thread.
And not to get too real on a late night post, but yeah.

I am *so* fucking done with people acting like this is normal. That the president of our country can just flat out lie and it’s not a big deal. That an entire branch of our government has been subverted to the whims of a serial liar.
As someone who has had multiple MRIs, you absolutely know what the techs are imaging before they put you in the machine, because if there is any sort of metal in the target area you *really* need to let them know beforehand since cleaning bloodstains out of the tube is NOT a good time

I thought I was done with bike rides until Spring, but 67 degrees on November 14th in Minnesota proved me wrong.

Our daughter applied to college today. Three of them, in fact. Regardless of their decisions, "proud" doesn't even come close to how we feel about the work she's put in to get to this point.

As far as I'm concerned, this thread could not be anymore on the nose than it already is.
Friendly reminder that Republicans are garbage, entirely devoid of empathy, compassion, or honor. They are terrified little babies who are filled with hate, scared to death of anything they don't understand. And they don't understand most things, because they are also deeply incurious.

Jane Goodall was one of a few people to earn a PhD without an undergraduate degree.

It was thought that her lack of formal academic training would allow her to remain unbiased by traditional thought and study the chimps with an open mind.

It worked. ❤️

I refuse to comment on the grounds I may incriminate myself.
The first thing that came to mind reading this was from The Simpsons: “I used to be with ‘it’, but then they changed what ‘it’ was. Now what I’m with isn’t ‘it’ anymore and what’s ‘it’ seems weird and scary. It’ll happen to you!”

That episode is 29 years old. 😩
