So weird how every time I’ve been in a city with an obvious, heavily armed police presence, I’ve felt distinctly UNsafe.

yesterday police appeared to have stopped a Vline train BETWEEN stations, had people out of the train on the sides of the tracks. I still can’t find any info on what or why and this was VERY close to home. Anyone know what was going on?

Husband is paranoid about hail after that Christmas Day storm some years ago damaged his car & two of the kids’ cars. No hail predicted in that storm, but he’s taking no chances - drove a couple of streets away to the station and parked under the elevated rail. 🙄

This ugly looking thunderstorm is heading towards Melbourne & suburbs. Predicted to reach the city around 2:50pm, earlier for NW suburbs.

This is about all protest and all free expression, from here on out. Our establishment knows social discontent will only grow as the climate worsens, the slaughters continue, and the rich extract harder. They're not fixing anything, and they don't want you to be able to resist.
