I like naps, cake and gin. Free Palestine. 🍉
Anyone been to the Portarlington mussel festival? 👀 I’m trying to convince husband to get out of his rut (and open his damn wallet) and it sounds like fun.

Love an unexpected Christmas gift: email from my super fund to say my pension is increasing by $31 a fortnight. 👏

A gentle reminder that the genocide and illegal activity by Israel in Palestine continues barely untroubled by a "ceasefire"

Went to Bunnings for a few garden things and picked up an advanced tomato plant, plus a support for it. I knew I had a large pot at home. Did I buy potting mix though? Of course not. 🙄

So weird how every time I’ve been in a city with an obvious, heavily armed police presence, I’ve felt distinctly UNsafe.

Not stopping AUKUS
Not rating the rate
Not stopping advertising of sports betting
Not stopping Australian firms supplying arms parts to Israel

Just checked the rain gauge and there’s 30mm in it. 😳 That was heavy rain, all right.

3:00pm and we’ve not even generated 5kwh so far today. I don’t mind a bit of rain, but the heavy cloud all day is 💩

yesterday police appeared to have stopped a Vline train BETWEEN stations, had people out of the train on the sides of the tracks. I still can’t find any info on what or why and this was VERY close to home. Anyone know what was going on?
(VLine said no trains b/n Deer Park & Wyndham Vale)

Husband is paranoid about hail after that Christmas Day storm some years ago damaged his car & two of the kids’ cars. No hail predicted in that storm, but he’s taking no chances - drove a couple of streets away to the station and parked under the elevated rail. 🙄

This ugly looking thunderstorm is heading towards Melbourne & suburbs. Predicted to reach the city around 2:50pm, earlier for NW suburbs.

Muslim leaders begging NSW Police for years to shut down the hate preacher that radicalised the Bondi shooters, NSW Police refusing as keeping the centre open was "a good source of information," and then ASIO/AFP bungling the surveillance, only for everyone to blame Muslims. What a world!

This is about all protest and all free expression, from here on out. Our establishment knows social discontent will only grow as the climate worsens, the slaughters continue, and the rich extract harder. They're not fixing anything, and they don't want you to be able to resist.

It has basically become accepted that the Bondi terror attacks were perprated by leftist anti-genocide protestors who heard the phrase 'from the river to the sea' at the harbour bridge and were immediately activated into committing mass murder

Weird coincidences in a city of around 3m people: Met my now husband in 1980. His mother’s best friend growing up was my mum’s cousin. And their neighbours were my father’s cousin & her husband.
