At 55, I'm at the right age to think everything sucks compared to how things were back when I was hot and nothing hurt when I got out of bed in the morning. But when I talk to young people about the enshittification of basically everything, it's pretty clear that it's not just me being a curmudgeon.

After reading this article, I don't know whether I'm more angry at my insurance agent or myself. I got sold a whole life policy in my early 50s. Wondering if I should convert it to regular life insurance. I didn't realize agents get a fat commission for the first 10 yrs of the policy.

I did a lot of working out my anger at the news yesterday on my MMA bag (I don't do MMA but I have a bag). It hangs in the garage and I'm glad to have it. Yesterday I was hitting it so hard the water anchor bounced off the ground. Maybe I should take boxing lessons?

Yesterday was a rough day - I hovered between depression and anger at the state of the country. I have to find a better way to regulate the old emotions. The news of Mark Kelly being investigated really angers me. This is a fascist dictatorship in the making and I hate it.

unless an AI platform can show they took every action to stop this, executives should go to prison. this behaviour has always been harmful and not treated seriously enough but the ability to make ultra realistic fakes increases the harm dramatically. stop it or go to prison has to be the choice.
