⚠️ You're likely to start seeing mass-produced weather apps showing ❄️ or 🧊 next weekend. They will flip flop many times, maybe every few hours.

Remember, at 5+ days out, the skill level at predicting details is VERY low. Is there a chance? Sure. Right now we're playing Plinko. Stay tuned.

To summarize Christmas Day... 🔥🔥🔥Breaking a national record by 3 degrees is insane.
🚨🔥 Warmest Christmas on record for the Contiguous U.S.! The average high of 57.9F and the average low of 36.6F each broke the Christmas record by a full 3F. 🔥🚨

Was not expecting this, but I'm not mad (about not needing a coat)
Did it again! After breaking the high temperature record yesterday, we tied today's record high at 76°. Christmas Day provides another opportunity with the record of 77° also in jeopardy. For those who prefer the cold, hang in there... the 30s return to start next week!

10pm Saturday and it's 35° with wind chills of 25°. It'll get much much colder overnight. Temps reach 20° but will feel like 5-10° Sunday morning. That's faucet-dripping cold, folks. Cold Weather Advisory in effect!

It was a beautiful, clear, sunny day in the metro. Today's low temps in the 40s were much warmer compared to yesterday. High temps were also warmer near 70 degrees. If outside tonight, remember to look for the aurora! /ER
