I’m not sure how the mainstream media has been covering epstein but youtuber coffeezilla has been covering it and I think that’s going to have a bigger impact on young men and other forces than anything the nyt has to say

With the decimation of education and specifically higher education pipelines and professions in the US, folks should know one of the known objectives in AI field is to appear to have produced 'AI [extremely highly educated + trained worker]' whether that be doctor, scientist, engineer, etc.
My doomer-worry about AI is not that the LLMs become omnipotent and take over the world but that the wealthy and powerful use it as a means to consolidate power and marginalize or lay off skilled workers and also everything about our technological and political and social life gets worse
