I just saw Wicked and I dunno. The payoff was good but a lot of it was pretty snoozy. Many of the songs are not good (like bad source material, performances were good.) Nessa Rose's arc made no sense. Why was this two movies? My 11yo loved it and my 9yo was bored.

I want to read James so I thought I'd brush up by listening to the audio of Huckleberry Finn. Going in I knew the n word would be prevalent but I was not prepared for how jarring it is to hear it said out loud roughly 10 times per minute. Might just skip Twain and go read James.
