A screenshot of my workspace on the drawing software Krita. On the right, you can see the color wheel, brushes and layers. On the left, you can see the canvas. It's zoomed in, so you can only see the bust up of the character. It's the clean lineart of a drawing based on the Marvel character Loki, in his Jotun (frost giant) form. He has a few braids on a shoulder length hair, with his classic horned helmet being more of a headband. He wears a large fur cape around his shoulders, as well as a large neck/chest piece with a knotwork pattern - the same pattern is repeated on his staff. He has a few marks on his face and chest, the ones he would have as a frost giant. I was going for a look resembling more his design from the Marvel Rivals game - a bit like how I would've made his design if he had a Jotun skin (and I am aware there is a frost giant version in game, but I wanted to do something a little different than the version there). I also wanted to make him more "Norse God looking", if that makes any sense. The fur on his cape is meant to be wolf fur, a little nod to Fenrir and, well, "wolf in sheep's clothing". I've been playing with this idea for YEARS now, but I'm a little more confident in my skills currently to pull off what I'd consider a nice design/look. Also... Yes, I learned celtic knotwork just so I could add cool details in my illustrations! It's all hand-drawn from scratch!
