A horror creature is coming out of a bright portal in the middle of the woods, his upper body looks humanoid, his lower body beast like. There's a gape in his belly and a tentacle is coming out of it. His head is crown with antlers and a bright red halo.

My rat is not angry, but they are coloured in shade of pale purple, with glowing eyes and outlines, floating against a purple-black background.

A marker, ink, and paint pen drawing in the style of Japanese artist Yoshitoshi, of an orange ghost rat reaching up, smiling, tangling their whiskers with another ghost rat who is floating above them. Only the head and tail of the floating ghost rat are visible, and they are purple. Their tail is curled in a heart shape over the orange ghost rat’s right ear.
They both have glowing eyes.
Inspiration: 19th century Japanese print artist Yoshitoshi, from his “Thirty-six ghosts”.

Underneath the chess board, white lettering on green grass says “Not all Frogs should Play Chess.”.
They are sitting on grass with rolling hills in the background, under a blue sky with light clouds. Frogs are doing things in the background: left, a frog is half visible coming over the near hill, and an orange frog is looking panicked on the far left hill, as their purple frog friend has fallen over, feet in the air. Right, a purple frog and an orange frog are waving at each other from separate hills.
This was inspired by a single goofy-looking frog in a 1577 print.

As a diehard Satoshi Kon fan, it's a yearly tradition in this household to watch Tokyo Godfathers.
What's the best thing about it? Eventhough we saw his movies dozens of times I always find something new I didn't notice before. 💕
