I am not from or in the USA. Please don't ask me about this!
So many in the US still believe alienating Trump's supporters via Epstein files will change everything. It won't. US is now an authoritarian, dictator led, rogue state run by anti-democracy oligarchs from the shadows. Getting rid of Trump and his supporters changes none of that.

So, US businesses and citizens will have to pay more for goods from NATO countries. UK sent 1 man, because our ally, Denmark, invited us to. The US currently have c.150 military personnel there, and are also, technically, NATO members. So, I make that a 1500% tariff on US goods & no World Cup.

The difference in how the US are treated by the international community and sporting bodies is astonishing.

Thanks go to the MPs who have signed my Early Day Motion calling out the legitimisation and normalisation of the US breaking international law.

Reform UK's Tom Pickup, has been suspended by the party after posting in a far-right Whatsapp group where other members posted calls for Keir Starmer to be shot.

Don't just like it, share it.

Reform Watch: Racism, racism and more racism
Each week we cast over eyes over what Reform have been up to – from bizarre proclamations to the detail of how their attempts to run councils are going.

The old world order is being deliberately dismantled by the Trump regime. Sod the Epstein files. You already know he's a criminal. Stop whining for the files like it's a bone from your master and take the decisive action suggested in your Constitution and amendments. Sort the rest out later.

So, have I got this right? The people who run the US have had a year to organise a cover up and they still haven't managed to do it properly? Exactly how stupid are they?

BBC keeps telling us they give Reform UK a big platform because they got 14% of the vote in 2024. Turnout was below 60%, they got c. 4 million votes. There's 69 million of us. So 6% of their actual viewers voted for Reform. More next time, I expect: free advertising does that.

Why are 'showers' always 'scattered showers'. Surely 'scattered' is redundant?

I think the BBC are headlining the untimely demise of a right wing US pundit (one of 100+ gun fatalities in the US daily) because they are obsessed with their own industry and can't bear to mention Gary Lineker getting 'Best Presenter'.

Farage got called a 'Putin-loving free-speech imposter' in Congress
Why can't Labour do this instead of getting all weird about flags while pretending their houses are shrines to the Jubilee?
Instead they fan Farage's flames, turn up the dial on racism & embolden his base while repulsing their own.

If you want to put asylum seekers into abandoned army camps for no cause other than their membership of that group, I am going to call them concentration camps, because that's what they are. And I am going to call you a fascist and a traitor because that's what you are.

I understand the leader of the free world is going to meet with the junior partner in the Putin/Trump alliance, flanked by a significant number of European leaders. Hope Junior is suitably respectful and properly attired.

Labour govt in the UK varied: too authoritarian, decent economic growth, too soon to see results from most initiatives. This attack suggests an uncritical reliance on right wing sources. Starmer is unpopular and that's normal one year in. 'Not good' is light years ahead of authoritarian dictatorship.
Gavin Newsom and Buttigege both seemingly want to be the American Keir Starmer, and Americans sympathetic to that pitch should glance over at how things are going across the pond

For Trump's UK visit, may I suggest: no protests, no demos. If you work in London, take a day off. If you live there, go visit someone who doesn't. Let's see that coach roll through silent, empty streets. No acknowledgement at all.

I saw some footage from a local drone operator about some protesters with a Tommy Robinson flag, kicking off outside a seafront hotel on my town. The hatred and bigotry in the comments have made me feel like a stranger in my own country - something no immigrant has ever done. It sucks.
