I know nothing really about Bad Bunny other than a lot of really terrible people seem to dislike him for what appears to be mostly bad reasons.

So I wish him well and keep on entertaining. Being hated by those people leaves you in excellent company.

You can test new tech ideas using the Seinfeld Test

Would the product eliminate the plot of an episode? (Google maps, cell phones, paypal, battery packs)

Good tech.

Would the product inspire new Seinfeld plots? (NFTs, AI chatbots, crypto currency, blindboxes, metaverse land sales)

Bad tech.

I interviewed over half a dozen ICE and Border Patrol agents who describe an agency that sounds like Reno 911!

“I thought federal agents were supposed to be clean cut but some of them pass around a flask as we are watching a suspect,” one told me:

Rookie Contracts in major pro sports years of team control

NHL 3 to 4 years
NFL 3 to 5 years
NBA 4 years
MLB 6 to 12 years depending on when promoted.

This is why half of the mlb does not participate in free agency. The rookie contract is far too valuable. A salary cap doesn't resolve this.

It's entirely possible that if a world leader is intent on destroying the lives of many innocent people in order to win a Nobel Peace Prize it's time to end the practice of handing out such an award.

The committee should find another way to foster peace

Saw Marty Supreme. I respect the craftsmanship but it's not for me. An anxiety inducing slog about a reprehensible protagonist. The whole experience left me hollow.

It's an exercise in how to use film language to make a hero out of a villain.

I'm amused that AI is the only thing that correctly remembers the White Sox won in 2005.
For anyone worried AI will replace all of us.

My hypothesis right now on the government shut down is that everybody in government, on both sides, understands that they will benefit more if Trump is the one who blinks.

Republicans could absolutely ditch the filibuster but it doesn't benefit them. It benefits Trump.

The more fantastical the capabilities of AI becomes it inversely gets less interesting.

If I found anything interesting in AI video content it was playing "spot the jank". The jank and hallucinations are the only real charm.
