So sad that this is the first time I've read about the amazing, colourful person behind so many of the games I played growing up.
From all of us who worked with Becky at Interplay Entertainment, and the rest of us who have deep respect for her contribution to our industry, we want to extend our condolences to Rebecca Heineman's family and friends. Her spirit will live on in all who learned from her and loved her.

Have you played Mass Effect 1, 2 & 3? The choices you made in earlier games will impact your story in the later games.

Meanwhile Borderlands or Crysis don't have anything impacted by your choices or dialogue.
i love when games are like "the choices you make in our game have consequences." yeah buddy that's all video games, even tetris

I played games with my daughter -at first she would sleep on my lap, then we played couch co op games together, now (less frequently) we play local co-op games
to all of my gamer pals who are parents… where tf do you find the time to play video games?! 🤣

i love my niece and i love hanging out with her, but after a day and a half, i find myself feeling stir-crazy! one of the many reasons i couldn’t be a parent to a human. 😄

well done, parents! 👏🏻

People who think writing is an inferior creative art form either don't read or can't write...
if i have to see one more wannabe writer admit that they're only doing this because they consider writing a fail-state to other, superior art forms, you will find me on international television

My requirements still call for custom built desktop computers to have cases with 3.5" drive bays!
Building a PC for the first time in a decade is making me feel like I time traveled. "Hey, this case doesn't have a rack for SSDs!" I say, like a peasant unaware that 2.5" drives are stone age technology

Absolutely no way this doesn't get hacked and used for criminal activity - either the owner hacks their plate-display to show someone else's number plate or someone else hacks the general system to allow issuing "legitimate" number plates at will.
A "Digital" License Plate? Come the F on. Not everything needs to be digital. And this is coming from a guy who incorporates tech into damn near everything. I love tech, but this is silly. A $40 a month license plate subscription? reviver.com/rplate/

My first #FDM print on my #anycubic kobra S1 today is an 8hr Art Nouveau floral plant pot, in mint green #PLA - the spool has about 161.2g of filament on it, and the slicer tells me it needs 160.6g - should have 0.6g when left in the PTFE tube when it is done. #3dprinting

Scammers using details from the Ledger breach called me today, claiming my Ledger Live account showed unusual activity. Strung them along for almost 15 minutes before I had to go to work. That's the 5th Ledger related scam this week.

Idea for the next game in the Unravelled series: taking the 3D co-op aspects of Split Fiction, applying them to Unravelled, and swapping the yarn for PLA filament. Call it "Unravelled 3D"

My Hugo blog is configured to use em dash. I don't use them correctly — shouldn't have spaces around them — but I do use them.
i didn't fight in the Wikipedia MOS:DASH wars just to start using hyphens in place of em dashes
"but I use that and I'm not an LLM" - I don't care. Also you have to start using hyphens even when you mean to use an em dash

Not everyone watches TV shows the moment they’re released. If cast & crews share plot twists and reveals, people might not bother watching them at all, knowing all the surprises have been spoiled. There’s some shows I’ve never watched, but feel like I have. Let people experience them for themselves.

Idea for a collection of intertwined TV shows:

A Madam Secretary style show following the same idea as the existing show, but with slightly more emphasis on the impact the media and US companies have on the politics.
