Ive got this like massive spreadsheet of 30 diff printers that I used for cost analysis and its pointed me mostly at AnyCubic/Creality brand. Ik theyre not super expensive but they get the job done ^-^

I've had this €69,50 Anycubic Kobra 2 Neo for like a month now, and by troubleshooting it, tearing it apart, flashing Klipper, and straight up fucking around and finding out, I learned way more about 3D printing and 3D printers than the average Bambu H2D owner ever will

Got myself a couple new to(ys)ols during the recent sales. Creality Hi arrived today and the AnyCubic S1 Combo arrives next week. I’m quite impressed so far, it’s wild how good 3d printers have become in the last 3 years.

got the anycubic kobra s1 combo because coreXY enclosed multifilament printing for $430 or something from Micro Center is an insane deal. only real issue so far is that it refuses to do LAN or cloud printing but hopefully their support team can help out

120 "A" guns printed for the Bee retro head. Its way more then I expect to sell. But I'll include them with other orders as a bonus item. These took 9.5 hours to print on the highest setting, on my Anycubic Photon Mono X4 printer. Still need to print out the "B" gun designs.

(I do still recommend Prusas to agencies looking for 3D printers with the budget for it though since they seem to give good long term support. Something budget manufacturers don't do a lot, I say this as a Elegoo and Anycubic user)

I'm running a small print of character arms using "garbage resin" (used resin, drained from the reservoir from previous projects) so failure isn't a big deal.
If the parts print correctly but have bubbles or debris I'll know my FEP tuning is fine, but the resin is, y'know, garbage.

I have an AnyCubic sitting collecting dust right now. Depending on where "local" is (I feel like you've mentioned before but I don't remember), I'd be happy for it to get put to good use.

There's a good arm sleeve for Venom Snake's bionic arm, but Ryu wasn't happy with anything we found for the hand. So... I'm making it from scratch on the spot. Haha.

Thing is, from what I'm seeing of other brands, Anycubic printers are punching above their weight in most respects, my first printer came with a material switcher (that doubles as a filament dryer) for "only" 350 Euros. Compared to Bambu or whatever, it's dirt cheap.

The file was a free .stl from Thingiverse, sliced in Cura, and was printed in PLA plastic on my Anycubic Kobra 2. I sized it up by 15% to better fit my face, and I'll be augmenting it with foam clay!

I've had similar issues with my Anycubic printers. As Jon Shute said above, could be temp or FEP, but you ruled out both. Could be the lift axis needs some more grease/oil (had that problem a month or two after I got my Mono X2). Could be a bad slice. Maybe the screen protector needs to be changed.
