U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

Multiple times a week, I think Seattle could make a decent amount of money in tickets just by putting up red-light cameras at the Rainier-23rd-Hill intersection. I frequently see drivers either block the intersection—usually heading southbound on Rainier—or run red lights.

Wonder why that is.

The Route 106 trip to Downtown Seattle scheduled at 8:06 AM from Renton Transit Center did not operate today. No notice from King County Metro that the trip was cancelled. A bus did depart at 8:03 from 106's spot, but it was still signed as To Terminal.

I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work.

I don’t let bullies win.

Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.

It's great to see Lisa Ann Walter finally make it to the "Jeopardy!" Tournament of Champions after a scheduling conflict prevented her from appearing in the previous tournament.

With the amount of fireworks I'm hearing, you'd think it was either midnight on New Year's Day or it was Independence Day.

Lost in the news of Alex Pretti's murder by ICE yesterday was the passing of author and political scientist Michael Parenti. He was, quite possibly, one of the most important and impactful Marxist in the West post 1990s. His words changed many lives and may they not be forgotten.

The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

I like James Cameron's "Avatar" film series, and I am not ashamed to admit it. Each film is three hours of escapism from *guestures broadly*.

I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.

I had a great time seeing tonight's performance of @nightvaleradio.bsky.social's live show, "Murder Night in Blood Forest", at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle. My brother ended up being one of serial killer's victims (Victim #2, Hector Guerrero). It was great fun.

The main bank account holding revenue from the Venezuelan oil sales is located in Qatar.

“There is no basis in law for a president to set up an offshore account that he controls so that he can sell assets seized by the American military,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

A bit late to the party, but I only received this 2 days ago. Besides riding the Link 1 & 2 lines and the 560 from SeaTac, everything else was with King County Metro; this means in 2026, I need to get those Transit Agencies numbers up. It was also fun trying to remember which routes I rode in 2025.

As HB 1175—the bill that would permit neighborhood cafés and stores—didn't get passed by #waleg last year, I hope it gets some traction this time around, even though this year is an even-numbered year and the legislative session is only a short 60 days.

This glib statement is all the more risible when you recall how many law enforcement officers used their vehicles as weapons against protesters in 2020... and how many Republican-dominated states *sought to legalize killing protesters with vehicles* as a reaction to the demonstrations
Noem: "People need to stop using their vehicles as weapons ... it's clear that it's being coordinated. People are being trained"
