Okay, this is dumb, but I had to draw it. If you're like me and enjoy Pokemon, maybe, hopefully, this is for you.

Doodling on the couch this evening, because, in the real world, your future isn't paid for by rupees under a bush...

I'll never tired of drawing Batman. Maybe because of all comic characters, he's the one who spends the most time aura farming in comics. That aside, I feel like I'm on the cusp of something new with my work. Time in the sketchbook and more discipline feels like it's paying off.

Broken crown has been replaced. The cause isn't fully known for the break, but I'm grateful my dentists were willing to see me within an hour of the break happening. They were able to replace it and take some extra measures to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Superman is grateful today isn't Monday, it's really his only...well, not his only weakness...

Another from the pile of unfinished sketches that I took another crack at. I wanted Superman to feel big here. Not necessarily muscle bound as much as burly. Like the farm boy that he is.

Two-Face in the sketchbook. Harvey Dent is such a fun character, specifically, to draw. You can get away with not only drawing two faces in one, but even two expressions. His scarred half always carries that wicked scowl while his unscarred half can be a blank canvas for emotions.

Here's the Shazam piece from yesterday's time-lapse video, in case anyone wanted a better look at it.

Sometimes you start a sketch and it just doesn't feel right. That was the case with this one. It didn't work...so I ditched it. Sometimes it's best to step away from a piece and clear your head. It opens up solutions you may have ignored during your first attempt and takes some pressure off.

Standing at a crowded cafe waiting to be seated for brunch, so I went about doing some quick sketching.

Was looking through some of my files for inspiration and came across this Green Lantern I did a while back. Considering doing something like this on a sketch cover. Thoughts? Medium: digital #GreenLantern #digitalart

Haven't done a sketch cover in quite a long time and I had an old stack of them laying around, so I figured I'd give one a try. Here's good ol' Batman for you.

A rough sketch of Clark Kent revealing his true identity, Superman, as he is off to save the day. Haven't had much time with the sketchbook lately as I'm focusing on finishing up a job at the moment, but this was a quick break from work. #superman #art

Throwback to this Doctor Who painting that I actually did at a con maybe eleven years ago. The original is massive. Maybe 32x18? Always loved this piece. Done in watercolor and gouache.

Throwing it back to...I don't know...a million years ago? One of my first published works. Pencils for House of Mystery for DC Comics, inked by my father, Neal Adams. This was a special job for me. I was still in college and I was lucky enough to be working for DC Comics alongside my dad.

Took a shot at sketching Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. My sketchbook may be a touch small and my pen may be a little broad for inking some of the details I attempted, but still happy with the result.

Lupin the Third! No cooler character exists. This is actually the first time putting pencil to paper in this sketchbook. But it's nice to add a step to the workflow. The pencils allowed me to be more purposeful with the ink likes rather than sketching in ink.

Detective Conan! This was so fun to sketch up in the sketchbook. It's not in my wheelhouse, which is exactly why I had to try. Getting a nice balance between controlled and expressive marks with the brush pen is something I'm getting more confidence with.

More playing with new pens and brush pens. This time a little Harley Quinn in the sketchbook. Trying to get a little bit of crazy in this one.

Decided to mix a little pen and brush pen in the sketchbook. Trying to command them a little better. Got a Deadman sketch going.

Playing around with a new Kuretake brush pen that I picked up while in Japan. Sketched good ol' Batman in the sketchbook.

Quick sketch of Mister Freeze in the sketchbook this evening.

Haven't had a chance to go out and sketch today but did a little doodle to scratch the itch.

Sketching at the diner this morning. Trying out some new tools and working on drawing from observation. Keeping it loose.
