Hey all,

Seems like there's a new influx of cool people realizing that this is the place to be. I wanted to introduce myself. I'm a Pulitzer Prize winning comic artist and art director. Son of late comic legend, Neal Adams. And I'm actively looking to collaborate.
Well, tragedy struck. Some time last night a bobcat managed to get its way into our goose enclosure. It presumably killed two of our geese and injured a third. We're hoping the injured one bounces back, but we'll see.

Once again, it is way past my bed time. To all my lovely friends here, you fresh baked cookies, you pair of warm slippers, you Wallace and Gromit marathons, have a lovely evening and I'll see you all in the morning.

Was notified by FB that my "content" was generating revenue. Curious, I checked it out...$2.17 over the last month. In about two and a half years I'll have generated enough for Meta to actually give it to me.

I'll never tired of drawing Batman. Maybe because of all comic characters, he's the one who spends the most time aura farming in comics. That aside, I feel like I'm on the cusp of something new with my work. Time in the sketchbook and more discipline feels like it's paying off.

Doodling on the couch this evening, because, in the real world, your future isn't paid for by rupees under a bush...

A sinus headache has absorbed most of this day. I've been drawing so much lately that the weirdest part of the day was realizing how little I got to draw.

Alright, I've stayed up way too late. To my wonderful friends, you savage beasts of affection and camaraderie, you gifts from Galadriel, you afternoon naps, I wish you a good night. I'll see you all in the morning.

I love how capitalism is so deranged that we measure the affordability of a thing by how many coffees you have to sacrifice to afford it. Like the drug we drink to be able to survive our lives of labor is the only way we can understand actual value because money is ephemeral.

Fellow users of Ibis Paint X, I've been displeased with my line work of late. So I spent the better part of my Sunday tinkering with making the ideal brush for the look I want.

After using it enough to love it, I thought you might want it, too.

Lays down smooth, lightly textured, versatile.

Keeping up posting on social media is absolutely brutal. I don't even understand how people do it casually, let alone to try to grow and audience or promote work.

Any skill is a journey. You can be on day one or day ten thousand and revelations about your chosen skill will come. Acting on those revelations determines how far the journey will take you.

Broken crown has been replaced. The cause isn't fully known for the break, but I'm grateful my dentists were willing to see me within an hour of the break happening. They were able to replace it and take some extra measures to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Is it normal for a crown on a tooth to break less than a year after it was put on? I feel like that's super not normal. Any experts?

Drawing so many weird and different things lately. It's so hard to switch gears from one way of drawing to another, but I'm all over the place right now.

The problem with messing with scammers for 24 hours is, while I haven't lost any money, I certainly didn't earn any money. That said, I do feel good about it.

I finally did a new Make it Wayne strip. Loved doing these dumb strips ages ago so it's fun to do one again. Love to @ssnyder1835.bsky.social & @nickdragotta.bsky.social's Absolute Batman, who, in this strip, learns just how hardcore the OG Batman is. Be sure to pick up Absolute Batman at your LCS.

Two-Face in the sketchbook. Harvey Dent is such a fun character, specifically, to draw. You can get away with not only drawing two faces in one, but even two expressions. His scarred half always carries that wicked scowl while his unscarred half can be a blank canvas for emotions.
