Taking the big cheese from Deloitte to see the World Wrestling Federation because Irish Rugby has killed the Aviva territory.
I implore everyone to take their Corporate clients to a WWE PLE. I've already torn up the Ryder Cup 2027 tickets.

Seems to me that it used to be that *creating non-consensual intimate images of women and children* would be the sort of thing that Conservatives might publicly be against.

But what a world we inhabit.

He’s gonna turn this into a culture war “debate,” rally the troops around “censorship” and try to move the goalposts away from the CSAM, our government will take no meaningful action and get pummelled from all sides for fucking it up, X will suffer no consequences.
The billionaire sought to push back against the outcry over X’s AI chatbot Grok creating sexualised images of people, including children, at the request of users.

The thing people (and apparently the Taoiseach) somehow refuse to accept about Grok and X is that it isn’t a platform being misused or abused, it is a platform working exactly as intended by its owner. It is meant to be a racist, misogynistic, far right propaganda tool and it is
My word.

The Taoiseach, in China, says "platforms can be misused and abused or they can be used for positive reasons as well..." and says that should be considered carefully "before jumping to conclusions" on whether it's appropriate for the Government to be on X.

The fact that the government appear to be afraid of the consequences of leaving X is in of itself justification for the government to stop using the platform.

We have ceded too much power to an unelected and openly hostile foreign entity, Elon Musk.
This insistence on appeasement - this cowardice - is debasing, embarrassing - & - IT WILL NOT WORK

Look at Maria Machado, she bent over backwards to praise and appease these guys, and what did she get? Passed over

They got what they wanted from her & saw no obligation to return the favour
My word.

Not one coherent argument why it's okay for anyone, but especially supposedly progressive people, to keep posting (socially!) on a platform whose very infrastructure is being used to mass humiliate and abuse women and children

One thing about all of this is: if the line is not here, at the mainstream, industrial-level creation of CSAM, where is it?

Musk by his own mission statement is out to smash societal norms, cut “empathy” from the West, demolish the EU…

What is next down the tracks for him, for X, if this isn’t it?
