Bacon & Leek Pie!: Old major bacons chopped up and sauteed with finely chopped leek. Slowly cooked together, tossed with grainy mustard and finished with a hearty roux. Packed into a pie crust made with rendered bacon fat, and butter.

Went to a bonsai show and couldn't resist this trio of variegated Serissa japonica, Variegated Snowrose or Tree of a Thousand Stars. I suppose it depends on where one lives, but was told it's just "serissa" here in the midwest.
