Since Mom’s birthday is on Christmas Day, took Dad to see this earlier. He really liked it even though it wasn’t about Neil. He still likes talking thru a movie (singing the songs mostly), but we only got shushed once.

At work, no one cleans the microwave or the kitchen sink after colleagues have used those two areas. I get that one has a nice stew, soup or cut of meat that tastes great but leaves splatter, so would one mind wiping that area clear with a damp cloth please? I end up cleaning those spots anyway.
Let’s air those grievances. I want to hear your pettiest gripes on this the holiest of days.

‘85 & ‘87 begat ‘92-‘93.
I hope there’s less of a gap.
And I hope it doesn’t take another 32 years to reach it.

I’ve carried some baseball heartache around for decades, so I’m reasonably sure that I’ll go to my grave believing the 2025 Blue Jays deserved to win.
All I hope is that sometime between now and then, there’s another moment that helps assuage that pain.
