Fantastic article, and yes the fear is so pure, I have felt nothing like it before or since - comparing dope withdrawal to the flu is laughable.
It is not accurate to compare opioid withdrawal to the flu, she said: “There is no flu that feels like being trapped in a burning room with no way to get out. The flu doesn’t leave you with psychic death. It’s the most brutal experience I’ve survived.”
