Great reminder! Company matches help us grant wishes all year long - especially at times when donations slow down like January - April.
While I look through some wishes to grant, my annual reminder that a lot of companies have donation matching programs that are usually set up for easy use. It's a great way to double up and help even more kids. My company has matched my @onesimplewish.bsky.social donation for several years running.

🧵 We are, in fact, doing the thing again for @onesimplewish.bsky.social. In 2024, the kind people of this community put the money cannon on blast to help grant $75K in wishes for children in foster care. Toys, tech, a suit for job interviews. Here we go again! 👇

Maxey hit a 3 right in front of the Bucks bench tonight and then smiled at them like he had just run into buddies he hadn’t seen in a while
Shamelessly stealing from my past self.

The Mavs need a GM. Turns out I know a guy: our food critic, @reinhart.bsky.social.

Is he qualified? Not at all. But he has an eight-step plan to turn things around... or at least be marginally better at the gig than Nico Harrison was. You'll have fun with this

ICYMI: Now is a good time to say that Jordan Davis swatting a FG is on the cover of this month’s SI, and you should buy magazines because they are cool and you can read good articles and look at nice pictures without having to be on your phone.
@conororr.bsky.social wrote a very good magazine cover story about why special teams has gone crazy this year and we put Jordan Davis’s blocked FG on a cool looking cover.

I've thought the biggest sin of the Doncic trade was simply breaking faith with Mavs fans in the most traumatic and unexpected way possible. There's an unwritten covenant and Harrison-Dumont broke it without understanding they did.

Nico Harrison blew it. He should have known better. But firing him after signing off on the Luka debacle shows that Patrick Dumont and the Adelson ownership group didn’t know better and have no idea what they’re doing. That’s worse
