X’s algorithms are not neutral tools. They are an editorial force, shaping what people know, whom they pay attention to, who the outgroup is and what “we” should do about or to them.

I think every journalist framing this statement by Hanson as a “partial apology” should look up what apology means and realise this doesn’t even come close. This is a refusal to apologise and laying more offence on. Hanson is an absolute outrage and should be condemned.
