New headline from @theonion.com is hitting home, RN.

My wife, who just had cancer surgery, is forced to sleep in the recliner of our den for medical reasons.

When I grabbed a quilt to catch a nap on the couch next to her, she said she was sorry for using the larger, 'nicer' blanket.

True.

Also, I remember watching Episode 7 and thinking, 'Man, I cannot wait to learn more about these Knights of Ren.'

I can't be the only one. Why did Disney/Abrams/Johnson really not give a single fuck about the full arc of the story they were telling? So much set up, no pay off. Baffling.

How to know fascism is winning?

My local TV news station is referring to the INSURRECTION that occurred at the US Capital on January 6, 2021 as an ‘event.’

An event. As if it were a Kenny Rogers concert and not an attempt by a violent mob to zip tie and murder our elected leaders.

Movie theory — there’s likely to be a fantastic 4K release for a JCVD film long before we will ever get one for most PTA flicks.
was idly wondering if there was a TIMECOP 4k blu ray and sure enough there is so that's what i'm buying tonight

Some thoughts:

1. American citizens are currently endangered while traveling internationally;

2. U.S. military bases abroad are sitting ducks;

3. Drone strikes over our Southern/Northern borders via terrorist organizations are easy potshots;

4. Evangelical Christians want to hasten armageddon.

If the US truly wants to strike back at the 'traffickers' who profited off America's opioid addiction, here's a tip:

We didn't have to go all the way to Venezuela....

Agreed.

On a related note, outside of maybe Refn, has any director blown as massive of a career lead as Michel Gondry?

I am not saying this to even be smarmy or mean. I loved a lot of his post ETERNAL work, and think KIDDING was a criminally under-appreciated show.

But man, what happened?

A botched final season of TV with a great final episode?

People are using AI to create and share moving image representations of what they have always thought about fat people, and most of it is terrible if not absolutely horrifying.

Fun fact: Kat Rosenfield "co-wrote" a novel with Stan Lee

She signed the deal with Stan in early 2018, when he was completely out to lunch and being massively abused and exploited by the business partners who hired her

Just FYI

Real "oh my god, she admit it" moment here. Trump is treated as an uninteresting figure without agency so we can dump endless criticism on liberals for how they react to his "natural disaster." He "doesn't participate in moral frameworks" lmfao

Really ashamed with Little Caesar’s for missing this moment to throw teriyaki flavored meatballs on a supreme pizza with a picture of a bespectacled Chalamet on the box.

I would have risked major gastric distress to try one of these!

Kinda wish Lucas had the same courage of conviction for Jar Jar in the prequels that Cameron does for Spider.

Not only does Cameron refuse to write Spider out of A3, he DOUBLES DOWN, makes it weirder, and even gives him the final line in the entire film.

By EP 3, Jar Jar doesn’t have any dialogue.

It was really tough watching my elderly Republican family members think the guy who broke Twitter was somehow going to fix our government.

But like their misplaced but sincere belief in WMDs in Iraq, when it doesn’t work out they never take accountability and just memory hole the entire thing.

Trump voters will be shocked but others won't be suprised

Lego is the gift that keeps on giving.

My niece's face when she opened her Lego from me this Christmas was a treat.

My face when I opened my Lego this Christmas was also a treat.

Lego is for everyone.
Against her wishes, I bought my wife a LEGO set based on her all time favorite TV show (TNG).

She thought it was going to be a pain in the ass to build it, but she's having a blast!
