Comic artists don’t make a lot of money.

I have a lot of uncomplicated, socialist thoughts about the industry. But rather than air out my grievances, I will remind everyone that if you're someone who donates money, the HERO Initiative is a creator run emergency fund that specifically helps comic people in trouble.

Ingram stopped selling to Baker and Taylor when it became clear stuff was going bad, but they couldn’t get back what they’d already sold before the warning signs cropped up. That’s what I’m losing out on, the unpaid invoices in the unreturned stock.

For what it’s worth, my actual distributor, Ingram, saw this coming months, if not YEARS in advance, prepared for it best they could, and warned me (and other publishers) months and months ahead of time. They did their job, and I’m not angry at them at all. Everybody did everything they could.

In case you’re curious, this is probably because ICC does a lot of library business in general. Baker and Taylor served the library market. So, I don’t know, maybe they had more of our books than average. I have no idea.

The Brian Branch news is awful. Lions had the NFL's best safety tandem entering the year and both are injured. Some hope for Kerby Joseph to return, but man...😢

Branch is reportedly done with a torn Achilles. That's a brutal loss, impossible to replace one-for-one, like Sam LaPorta. This leaves the Lions short-handed at safety. Here's a quick look at the path forward at the position: www.detroitfootball.net/p/detroit-li...
Detroit Lions' Brian Branch reportedly done for year with torn Achilles; looking at team's path forward
Detroit is suddenly shorthanded at safety and will need to add depth, with the practice squad offering two quick fixes.

Cover 6 is a three-deep coverage -- one guy has 1/4 of the field, one guy has another 1/4 of the field and one guy has 1/2 of the field

If you're a Michigander old enough to remember Charles Woodson in college you've seen a lot of Cover 6
I appreciate that you took the time to explain that Cover 6 is quarter-quarter-half, but honestly that got me no closer to understanding what that is. :D

On the play with the Ratledge hold (and he did), Miles Frazier did a great job with using his vision to figure out where to go without being impatient. Was one of the traits I loved in him as a prospect. Looked for work and found it without neglecting primary responsibility
