Hey MAGA:

You guys said that Democrats were going after your 2A rights.

Last I checked, Trump, Noem, Patel, & Bovino are Republicans.

That tyrannical government you talked about is here.

Trump administration goes after Second Amendment rights in justifying Minneapolis shooting
A number of pro-gun rights Republicans pushed back on the administration's argument that Alex Pretti was dangerous because he had a gun. Pretti was legally licensed to carry one.

"The Federal Government may neither issue directives requiring the States to address particular problems, nor command the States' officers, or those of their political subdivisions, to administer or enforce a federal regulatory program."
In Printz v. United States, #SCOTUS held that the Constitution bars the federal government from forcing or otherwise compelling local or state governments to enforce federal law.

The liberal squish who wrote the majority opinion in that case? Justice Antonin Scalia:

The next No Kings Day is March 28. Save the date, but don’t sit back and wait. Here are a few things you can do right now:

1) Call your senators and demand they rein in ICE. With a crucial Senate vote expected later this week, Democrats must hold the line to block more funding for ICE and CBP.

the violence we are witnessing every day in Minneapolis and elsewhere has proven deeply unpopular. It is indecent, arbitrary and cruel. Its tactics violate our rights as Americans to protest our government. Its purpose violates our moral conscience as human beings.
Lies, violence and the American state

Hi, what you saw in 2020 was states expanding access to mail in voting in response to the pandemic.

Republicans found out what happens when they make it easier for people to vote, and now they’re doing everything they can to stop that.

Hope that helps.

Removing Bovino from Minneapolis is a good start, but it’s a little like firing the head coach when your team is a mess. It is an easy but often superficial way to signal change when, in fact, the whole operation needs to go.
