Poorly programmed AI agents set to check O365 subscription status that instead buy a new subscription every 15 minutes
i have to wonder what kind of future AI hypebeasts are imagining when they say stupid shit like, "most or all of white collar tasks will be automated within 18 months". like, okay, microsoft, then who are your customers? who is purchasing O365 subscriptions when robots are doing all the work?

After despising Crouch for decades, I impulse-purchased Considering Genius when I first saw it in paperback. A great read alongside Amiri Baraka's late-'00s collection Digging. And Ethan's 2007 interview here should be posthumously added to future printings of Crouch's collection.

D.C. residents infamously suffer taxation without representation, but congressional Republicans are complicating even the taxation part of our second-class reality.

It's the first time they've targeted local legislation setting tax policy for the city’s residents, @maustermuhle.bsky.social reports:
Republicans just f*cked D.C.’s tax-filing season. City leaders could fight back.
Congress' repeal of a D.C tax bill could cost the city more than $600 million in revenue.

This has been the coolest part of the last few months, all of these people stopping Kat on the street to just shoot the shit about what’s working and what’s not because they know her from Instagram or the TV. It happens… a lot. They’re usually people who say they don’t vote but now they will.
One person at a time. One tea stop at a time. One vote at a time.

Walks like this not only remind us what we’re fighting for but also how we can represent our communities better.

We’ll be on Devon again today! Hope to see you there 🧡
