Finishing up my level editor system for Pingbert's Snow Ride!

Arcade Mode will remain procedural, while this Level Editor will allow me (and hopefully in the future other users) to make handcrafted levels easily!

The #procgen normal texture is controlled by 3 parameters : detail, sharpness and "lush". It is based on a fBm fractal worley noise. It is meant for ground texture. The "real" colors will come later (and that will be fun to explain how). #Godot #glsl #IndieGameDev #gamedev #solodev

Think about the UX of your walking around!

Alright, got my decals to look much nicer now and even managed to add a fresnel effect to the terrain. But I couldn't figure out how to make the fresnel configurable yet so I'm stuck with this over the top blue-ish glow for now...

Testing a fresh #APEX rig. Now fluffy and #quadrupedal.
Not perfect but already usable. I am gradually getting a grasp of all APEX components.
For experiment I used splines for the spine, tail and tongue.
