Dear 🧪🔭⚛️:

Stop calling the anti-DEIA executive orders, bans, work stoppages, research stoppages, and whatever else “rollbacks.” The executive orders are Resegregation Orders. These are attempts to return us to segregation.“

We need a massive week-long national stop work/walk out event. Stall the whole economy. And if all government workers walk out, Congress will quickly learn who they serve - we the people. #resist

We are seeing another insurrection, being conducted under the guise of an election. There is absolutely no reason anyone needs to follow directions from any unelected person, not vetted and approved by Congress. Kick M and his cronies out of your offices. Run them from the streets of DC. #resist

If you cannot call it what it is when all in a week: a government removes every mention of a group of people, destroys information about them en masse, bans their discussion in schools, restricts their ability to travel and starts seizing and refusing their official identification, when will you?

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

For a party that cried so much about cancel culture, the GOP sure seems to be using it a lot to cancel transgender people, refugees, the elderly, the poor, non-whites, civil servants, librarians, teachers………..

Sarah McBride is the perfect trans woman politican for the current moment: one who is willing to reassure liberals that ignoring the unprecedented assault on trans people's safety, rights, and dignity is not only acceptable but necessary to address the "real" issues.
Rep. Sarah McBride:

"When they're going after trans people, with their right hand they're picking the pocket of American workers, they're fleecing seniors, they're undermining unions. And this is all part of that politics of misdirection and distraction and division."

NAILED IT!

1. Iowa governor Kim Reynolds is pushing a new bill that would remove transgender people from the state civil rights act. Another bill would classify trans people as disabled.

Iowa Republicans Attempt To Remove Trans People From Civil Rights Act, Classify As Disabled
If passed, the bill would mark the first time gender identity gets removed from a state civil rights act that previously passed protections.

Today, we remember all the victims murdered during the Holocaust.

We mark the 80 years since the liberation of the Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.

This memory must be passed to future generations.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

After the election, I figured I’d have to leave the country because as a trans person I’d be hunted down. Now I think I’ll be leaving because EVERYTHING is turning bat shit crazy. Last one out, turn out the lights.

I and many others warned that the anti-CRT, anti-DEI propaganda campaign that so many embraced or down played was always about creating the narrative for and paving the way for a larger attack on civil rights. We are here.

The US Department of Veterans Affairs sent this email out to their employees yesterday. It is similar, possibly the same as the one from NASA. Hitler also had citizens report on other citizens in order to escape punishment for NOT reporting.

Is this how we want to live?

As the transgender community continues to fight for civil rights in the U.S., one of the most common arguments against progress is that transgender people are a recent phenomenon.

But it’s a fight that’s been happening here for decades and around the world for centuries. ⤵️
