The confidence I see in Gen Z and baby gays is astounding to me. So many present as they know who tf they are. My generation didn’t have that. I’m envious. I know from interactions many of them present pure confidence yet still struggle inside, normal, and their presentation is stronger than ours

One thing that should be absolutely clear; The younger gay generations “take what they hav for granted” the same way straights “take thier privilege for granted”. Because it’s never been threatened. AS IT IS FUCKING SUPPOSED TO BE. I will never accuse or judge gaybys for “taking things for granted”

Watched Longtime Companion with one of my boys. It was a seminal movie during the AIDS crisis, the first studio movie to address AIDS with many actors who would go onto be very famous. I forgot how much this movie absolutely crushes me. The final scene reminded me of how grateful I am for today

I compliment people a lot. Especially queers, we’re not used to being complimented. Several years ago I complimented Titan and I saw him shrink and not know how to react. I simply said “When someone compliments you just smile and say thank you”. Most of us don’t know what to do with a compliment.

I took my Mama to Revolver in the 90’s with my friends. I tried hiding the porn but gave up and owned it. Seeing the kids discover it makes me smile. ❤️❤️❤️
