I was worried the parent companies OK'd this. Knowing they didn't – and that Amazon acted without their approval – is comforting, and also makes me think Amazon got chewed the fuck out.

So I’ve heard the English AI slop dubs of three anime shows were removed from Amazon! Fantastic! We love learning and actions to be better.
Now remove the Spanish AI dubs :3 And don’t forget the KDramas that have the AI dubs too. Thanks!

I refuse to watch this shit AI dub. I'd rather stick to the subbed version. Is Amazon that cheap to not be able to hire actual human actors???
Let me give some insight on this, as a producer in the dub industry who worked with major streamers, who's witnessed first-hand where this push for AI is coming from.
tl;dr: Only CEOs want this. Tell them how much you hate it. Be loud, email, call, @, post. You will kill this.

The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them
A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.

I'm hearing its not too busy today so far. I know for a fact that its never insanely busy on Black Fridays just hoping I have good people with me tonight. Plus the store starting to close later will be kicking my ass in the next few weeks 😅
