I think along these lines every day. They all need to go, forcibly and to The Hague, at the very least.
Forcibly deporting this entire regime into the custody of the Hague for trial would be a grand gesture that would be:
a) Ironic justice
and
b) The first act of contrition the country must make to reenter the sphere of sane, freedom-loving nations.
We need to elect people thinking along these lines.

I’m having conversations in my community daily about the lack of affordability in absolutely everything and the brutal job market that has had folks searching for a job for months and for some, years. Folks are struggling hard.

Hi Bluesky, Giving Tuesday is almost here, and I’m asking y'all for extra support tomorrow. As most of you know, Prison Journalism Project trains and publishes the work of incarcerated writers so their stories can be heard. We are aiming to raise $50,000 before the end of the year

Tech oligarchs have been scrambling for products to retain dominance since the plateau of the home computer and mobile phone. Today, they're forcing 'AI' garbage on us while pushing for mass surveillance and war products, even if they have to make the wars to service them. We can reject this future.

Banning trans people from bathrooms is illegal in Illinois, as affirmed by law and a court ruling.

These are organic onions in Oregon that were bagged after digging, to allow the mud to dry. They are then dumped back out into rows for a machine to collect — the dirt falls off easily once dry.

Green beans are durable enough to be largely harvested by machines and then sorted and cleaned for quality by hand. The specialty varieties are more likely to be harvested by hand in a process similar to the work in this video. (Video shows snap peas from Salinas, CA.)

Workers here are cutting the tough pumpkin vines. Other workers will then collect and sort the pumpkins by size.

Pumpkin (like okra and cucumber) has tiny hairs on the vines that can be irritating to the skin, eyes and respiratory system.

There are two methods for cranberry harvest- wet method and dry method. Pictured is the ‘wet harvest’ method where the cranberry bog is flooded and the plants are shaken to dislodge the submerged berries, which float. (Fun fact: in a flooded bog the workers become high ground for the spiders.)
