We had to collect 180K signatures to put proposition A on the ballot to increase minimum wage to $13.75 and guarantee sick pay for Missourians. The measure won.
Just now, the Missouri House voted to overturn our will. Without signatures…with a vote. They do the bidding of the wealthy.

Celestial Seasonings used to make an herbal tea called “Caffeine Free.” It tasted like a black tea but had no tea in it, just a mixture of herbals. I LOVED it, bought it by the case, used it to make iced tea every summer. I was heartbroken it was discontinued. But today? I cracked the recipe.

The speed the universities have moved to comply with this stuff is astonishing. These are not fast moving orgs so embracing the erasure of inclusion and equity this quickly tells you about their leadership’s commitment.
