however, I just got a phone call from a pharmaceutical company where a robot told me if I want my medicine I need to use their patient portal, information I already got from my doctor, and I’d like to not have a phone number anymore

This is another thing, in an extremely online administration, if you see somebody trying to be the next Nick Shirley off the back of your workplace, your block, your city, it's your civil duty to beat them up while they film you and make them embarrassed to be doing what they're doing.

It's so fucking convenient that they get to "fear for their lives" anytime they want to absolve themselves of anything and when we actually fear for our lives because of them and do anything a scared person would do it's justification for our death.
