One of the most miserable things about living in this era is having to watch the stupidest & most arrogant people in the world have to relearn The Why of literally everything good that we collectively do the hard way.

The answer is always ‘Because a bunch of people died, fuckwit.’

WOW...... again, if the Black vote didn't matter to them, #they wouldn't be working this hard to keep us from voting.
NEW: In a loss for students in North Carolina, a judge declined to open early voting sites on three college campuses in the state, including the nation’s largest HBCU.

While the ruling deals a blow to students’ attempt to restore sites ahead of the state’s upcoming primary, they can appeal.
Judge denies North Carolina students' plea for early voting site at nation's largest Black college
Despite the decision, the students' lawsuit over the sites is ongoing.

It’s the weekend everyone, so you know what that means. Time to drink two polar seltzers and do a thread on the power transformer shortage. Without transformers, we don’t get a clean energy transition. And as energysky knows, there’s been a shortage due to covid, supply chain, & labor constraints 🔌🔋

I'm beginning to think that a lot of PoC have a very u lnfounded fear of Black America. The sway we have within the Democratic Party is because we've put in centuries of work in promoting freedom and democracy.

Every right that new immigrants enjoy is because of our blood, sweat, and tears.
