As I continue to think of cool ways to promote my book ("we will not survive" out November 13th 2026) I also need to start thinking about the one after that, and so on. Which, I suppose I should name... I tell you what, watch this space, I will drop the title on Halloween this year, here on Bluesky!

The human mind is such a wondrous thing, I can create vast words in a thought, give life to complex characters, yet you ask me to be calm for a social event and my brain freaks out 🤣🥺

You know what, I want to mention this. Lore is pretty dark, there's no sex in it, but a lot of darker themes, I never intended it to be either Adult or YA, I remember when I submitted my first book to KDP and that asks the same question and I really wasnt sure so just clicked "no specific age"

You know what, I want to mention this. Lore is pretty dark, there's no sex in it, but a lot of darker themes, I never intended it to be either Adult or YA, I remember when I submitted my first book to KDP and that asks the same question and I really wasnt sure so just clicked "no specific age"
This was my second book, and my first poetry and shorts collection, called "Branches" - the poems were compiled from hundreds I had written across a long time before putting them together, so it was kind of weird, but at the end of it was 1 poem written specifically for it.

So, today I have a new desk (in the car) for the new office space and a new sofa for the gaming space. My old desk is being retired, I have written at least 10 books there (3 under a pen name as a ghost writer) It's the end of an era. Anyone for a viking burial 🔥🔥🔥🐦🔥

So I have this idea for a novel in my head, & I am torn between two potential starting points, do I just write both out & see which one I prefer? Or the alternative option, stew in existential dread & self loathing, doing no writing, & eventually shelving the idea entirely.... 🤔 #writerproblems
