Yes, it's funny and it shows the hypocrisy and the idiocracy of ICE and the Trump administration.

But there are parts that are truly disturbing for any reasonable person, e.g., arresting someone with a clarinet and enjoying the brutality of it all 🙄

Tariffs are like throwing rocks in the economic engine, then asking the Fed to fix the noise by adjusting the radio volume. Interest rates can tune demand, but they can’t magically make a trade war painless.

It’s clear the feds are intent on stoking fear and provoking Minnesotans.

Trump wants a show. Don’t give it to him.

Stay safe and remain peaceful if you’re interacting with ICE.

According to a new court filing, the Trump administration has a six-page list of banned words that Head Start locations are forbidden from using when describing their programs.
Among the censored words: "disability," "race," "women," "trauma," "Gulf of Mexico." Short thread with the full list. 🧵

Routine childhood vaccinations just given from 1994 to 2023 prevented 1.13 million deaths, 32 million hospitalizations, and 508 million cases of illness,...

Mr. Simon speaks my mind.
To be fair my years exclude pre-Civil RIghts America, the age of the robber barons and the grasping amorality of the Mexican-American War, but overall I've lived 65 years and on an everyday basis, i have never been more ashamed of my country than in the past eleven months.

My god.

I will keep saying.

If you have the means, make preparations now for likely emergencies in your area.

Plan for help to arrive very late, if it arrives at all.
SCOOP — Gregg Phillips, a conspiracy theorist with no emergency management experience who helped produce the election-denying documentary ‘2000 Mules’ with Dinesh D’Souza and has faced numerous legal inquiries, has been named head of FEMA’s Office of Response and Recovery.

My story:
Conspiracy theorist election denier given FEMA’s second-most important role
Gregg Phillips will lead the Office of Response and Recovery, “the heart of what FEMA does.”
