People in my shop are panicking. Got 19 emails today alone when the average is half a dozen, if that.
Complaining about food discourse is lame. It's the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, nobody is sending any ermail at work. What the hell else do you have to do? I'm still here for over an hour.

This furious reaction is a reminder that the reckoning for Trump's tariffs is about to crash down on the US economy and they know it.

Any Democrat with any sense at all should be talking nonstop *now* about how it's all Trump's fault because they're going to be pushing back hard when it happens.

It’s a miracle any non-white, non straight, non-citizen person in America is getting any work done right now—

If we’re going to find our way out of this it’s going to be through art, through love, through love that seems foolish and naive and reckless. It’s going to take a reawakening of what it means to be human, to be connected in a fearless way.

This bloodless machine has to be dismantled, destroyed.

He is trying to create a chaotic environment in which normal order is broken down and replaced by rule by fiat. Cruelty to disfavored out groups may well be a welcome outcome, but I think instead the point is not to hurt people but instead is to hurt our very system of government

When I was surrounded by cruelty, I was a bitter, angry, selfish person. When I chose to partner with the kindest person I'd ever known, my life changed. I changed.

When you see unkind people, know that they've never truly known kindness. That doesn't excuse it, but it does make sense of it.

very good analysis of the coming AI collapse. tl;dr it won’t be pretty
Newsletter: We're at peak AI - generative AI models have hit the wall where they won’t improve much further thanks to a lack of training data, killer apps or any kind of sustainable business model.

The results of a collapse could be catastrophic.
