Complaining about food discourse is lame. It's the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, nobody is sending any ermail at work. What the hell else do you have to do? I'm still here for over an hour.

This furious reaction is a reminder that the reckoning for Trump's tariffs is about to crash down on the US economy and they know it.

He is trying to create a chaotic environment in which normal order is broken down and replaced by rule by fiat. Cruelty to disfavored out groups may well be a welcome outcome, but I think instead the point is not to hurt people but instead is to hurt our very system of government
