This is a shockingly inappropriate use of “blighted” to skip paying full taxes! All for the streetcar but you still have to pay taxes! Is anyone tracking how much revenue Omaha is losing to TIF?!?
In case it isnt abundantly clear at this point, Dems are not an opposition party. They’ll hold the GOP’s beer while they do dumb stuff because they would hate to see anyone make a mess! People should be de-registering in droves!

UPDATE—I asked Columbia specifically if they knew in advance of any DHS or ICE activity on or near campus, or whether they shared any info with authorities about the detained individual or any other Columbia affiliates.

Saw it yesterday. Eye opening documentary and remarkably courageous film. “No Other Land” deserved it and their speech is worth 2 minutes of your time! I hope US streaming services will stop refusing to make this available to more people. #oscars

As I note in this piece, we've actually seen this weird mishmash of ridiculously wealthy businessmen and dipshits whose main qualification is loyalty to the president about a hundred years ago.
