Kind wild that the biggest esports event in history was for a game most people in the US have never heard of.
This is the KPL 2025 Grand Final, held earlier today at the bird’s nest stadium in Beijing.
The final was for Honor of Kings, a mobile MOBA game by Tencent. It was the largest attended esports event with a live audience of 62,196, and had a prize pool of $9.8m.

Was buying a cute stuffed stegosaurus for my 1 year old nephew. Almost ignored the “choking hazard” warning label bc it’s just a stuffed animal. Then I remembered @cpsc.gov’s weirdly specific memes and found a replacement. Thanks CPSC. If he’s into elephants instead of dinosaurs, this is on you.

While I support the long-term ecological project of bugs, I feel that their short-term goals are not mission-aligned. My brand partnership with bugs hinges on actionable progress with regard to: getting in my house, scampering around, flying when it looks like you shouldn’t be able to, attitude.

You might think that “PR” stands for “Pull Request,” but it also means “Personal Responsibility.” Code needs to be correct and the contributor needs to understand it, regardless of how it was written. They should be able to explain the “why” and “how” before opening the PR for reviews.
