I absolutely believe the (oftentimes intolerable) American instinct to despise authority and react poorly at being told what to do will end up saving us here
People aren't leaving; looks like more have arrived since we have. Someone just shouted "suck my dick" and the crowd joined in with a spontaneous "suck his dick!" chant.

Love that the PA Dept. of Agriculture put out a press release with an email subject line and headline stating, as fact, that "Founding Father Benjamin Franklin" will tour the Farm Show tomorrow.

In the body of said press release, it's never mentioned again or explained. 10/10. No notes.

the whole point of being an american is eating food from every country on earth with people from that country and partying with them. that's the thing we're best at and it's fun as hell and i can't believe these dickheads are trying to fuck things up for us

They're not just doing tyranny, they're doing the *exact* things listed in the Declaration of Independence that the colonists accused the king of. It's surreal

obviously not in the sense that it’s stopping everything, but they are being stalled so much by trying to find places where they aren’t watched, wasting so much manpower and resources on crowd control and even arresting observers they know will just get released. i am so proud of everyone

alright last thing before i try to sign off for the day- but i think part of the reason they are getting more and more aggressive, the reason they keep sending in more troops is that the community defense is working.

AOC: This has now become what we feared most about ICE for a long time—that it would be used as an anti-civilian force with no accountability. At the end of the day, what we saw today was a murder, and murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted.

u heard sharon, everyone post about their esoteric interests right fucking now. for the good of the community, we need to be hyperfixationmaxxing.
i think this site really needs to figure out how to grow the non-politics verticals (the baseball moment was a good thing!) because i suspect a lot of the bad clusters come out of the political clusters driving 95% of ENG-lang posts
I'd be happy with big non politics accounts.
