I’ve sat on that experience for over a decade, largely because… well, because life keeps moving forward. But I think enough time has passed that I can finally attempt to put it all into words.

I’ve got other, more immediate writing tasks to tend to, but… soon. Maybe.

It’s essentially about PAX Prime 2014, but it includes:

- a failed suicide attempt
- a disastrous appearance on a panel two days later that I REALLY should have opted out of (because I was clearly unwell)
- a chance meeting with someone who is now family
- a naked man wandering a hotel lobby at 3am

You can’t engage in good faith with people operating in bad faith. They don’t care about facts or logic, just anger and clicks

The union was quoting a Game Developer post about a GDC survey that Game Developer had deleted (presumably over a spelling error or something).
