More inclusive flowchart on the left, simpler flowchart on the right. I lean towards just putting the one on the right in the book because it gets the point across better.

Our neighbor's kid(?), who I suspect may be some sort of changeling, dwarf, or C.H.U.D. He just digs holes in their yard and dwells in them. A little squinty popeye of a child glaring out at the world from his dirt mound. Non-human vibes.

Small things that cheer me up a lil.
Character sheet changes, the Attribute Mutation was changed to Terazome (genetic library of monstrosity), which my Dev editor liked a lot better. Avoids confusing it with plural Mutations, which are actual... Mutations stemming from the Terazome. Still nuts but more cleanly delineated.

My kid broke one of my d100 golf-ball-of-doom dice from long long ago in the before times. I just thought you all might like to see what is inside of these. Little plastic beads! It snaps back together but it is a bit fragile now.

My Gamefound for Mutananny launched and for some reason all I can think about is that episode of Billy & Mandy where Billy turned into a super hero who shot yogurt from his armpits.

There's actually a lot of Pogo in MUTANANNY, now that I think of it. I read a lot of it as a kid and some stuck deep in my subconscious. See the vital soup cauldron and the garbage, particularly.

After a long and sobering degree of thought and playtesting, here is how the mutation changes I was considering should work. I am still enamored of rapid shape-shifter style mutation rather than birth builds, and as a result it has evolved into this first draft:

A sample demi-die I had printed for MUTANANNY. I think the green is a bit too dark and the details of the RNA loops around the pips didn't quite show how I wanted. I also thought it was going to be engraved lol. Not bad tho, but maybe back to the drawing board with this one.
