Another reminder that in the first 3 months of 2026 there will be nearly *30* State Legislative Special Elections across the country, with several red-to-blue flipping opportunities.

So rest up over the holidays.

As soon as the new year has been rung in, we’ve got work to do.
If flipping GOP-held State Legislative seats in Special Elections is your thing, I currently count *5* races in the first 3 months of 2026 that could very well be on the map:

1 in South Carolina
1 in Arkansas
3 in Florida

It's gonna be a busy year right out of the gate.

Muting a Black woman to claim the vote was unanimous is so incredibly on the nose
The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

The White House says the Kennedy Center board vote was “unanimous”…

BULLSHIT.

@repbeatty.bsky.social, a Congressional member of the board, was on the call. They muted her and didn't let her voice opposition.

This is beyond absurd, totally illegal, and a disgrace to the memory and legacy of JFK.

The Kennedy Center was given its name by an act of Congress after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated.

Pretty sure its current board, which includes revered fine arts dignitaries like Laura Ingraham, Pamela Jo Bondi, Maria Bartiromo, and Lee Greenwood, can't undo that law.

I shared with a friend that I feel I’m living in a movie.

Big props to everyone in Indiana who fought this.

They marched, they chanted, they protested, they rallied, they sat in.

They did everything they could to stop those maps from the moment the plan was announced.

And it worked.

Bravo.
🎉 BREAKING: WE DID IT! 🎉

After days of intense pressure from D.C., the Indiana Senate REJECTED the mid-decade gerrymandered map!

This victory belongs to every Indivisible member, every activist, and every Hoosier who called, emailed, and showed up.

Wow, incredible. The country has grown very tired of his bullshit.
Indiana’s Senate has voted AGAINST the GOP gerrymander that’d have locked in a 9-0 map.

This keeps the 7-2 map in place, saving two Democratic seats heading into 2026.

The vote failed big, 19/31.

The MAJORITY of the GOP senators opposed it!

Don't forget that. Good people stand against #ICELawlessness. Be inspired by that. As ICE thugs round up, brutalize & torture our fellow Americans, do or say something! Don't be complicit.
